Brittany Bishop recently received the 2020 Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship, which is hosted through the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine. During the 12-week fellowship in Washington D.C., she will be working under the Board on Chemical Sciences and Technology of the Division of Earth and Life Sciences. This 12-week fellowship is an incredible opportunity to get hands-on science policy experience, develop science communication and policy skills, and engage in science policy from the local to federal level.
