Holmberg Lab Attends 2018 ORCAS Conference

On Sept 6th-8th, the Holmberg Lab attended ORCAS 2018: International Conference on Energy Conversion and Storage at Friday Harbor Labs (organized by Professor Holmberg and Professor Cossairt). At the workshop, Brittany Bishop, Soohyung Lee, Elena Pandres, Sabiha Rustam, Nicole Thompson, and Grant Williamson all presented posters on their research involving nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage. In addition, Elena Pandres won the best poster award for her poster on nanowires for battery electrode materials. Congratulations, Elena!

Holmberg Lab Attends 2018 MEM-C All Hands Workshop

On Sept 4th-6th, several members of the Holmberg Lab attended the 2018 UW Molecular Engineering Materials Center (MEM-C) All Hands Workshop at Friday Harbor Labs. At the workshop, Elena Pandres gave a wonderful talk on nanowires, while Nicole Thompson, Brittany Bishop and Soohyung Lee presented posters on their work with luminescent and plasmonic nanostructures.
